Due to the poor weather at the beginning of the year, The Balmer Lawn Trophy was rescheduled to be played on March 21st. It was the first trophy that Husband and Wife team, Simon and Julie Benford had ever won, but, like waiting for a bus, they also proceeded to win the Vicary Trophy six days later.
The Elizabethan competition was held on Good Friday and was won by Ray Hunt, Pat Fulton and Rachel Fulton.
Winners of the Loop Cup were Andrew Scrutton and Nigel Watson. A special mention must go to Bud Slaney and Peter Stokes who lost on Countback in this 27 hole competition.
