Ladies' Section

We are a friendly and active section of more than 140 ladies, offering a wide range of 18 hole golf competitions for individuals, pairs (ladies and mixed), and also fun team events.

Our main competition day is Tuesday but we also offer an alternative competition day (medals and stablefords) on Saturday or Sunday for those ladies unable to play on Tuesday.  9 hole stableford competitions are also included in our fixtures list for those not able to play 18 holes.

We also have a 9 hole roll up fun day on Thursday and 18 hole roll up on Friday.

We encourage and promote competitive golf against other clubs and take part in County interclub matches, Stoneham (0-24) and Beales (h/c 20-36).  We also have plenty of friendly and mixed matches against other clubs.

We are a welcoming ladies' section and all new ladies will be offered a buddy to show her the ropes and help her to settle in. 

Please note that you will be required to have a current WHS handicap index and this should be a maximum of 36.0.

The Club Committee may exercise discretion around these handicap requirements, subject to discussion around individual circumstances.
